Getting started

Signing in

Brief Aero uses Sign in with Apple. After three short intro slides, tap the Sign in with Apple button — no separate account or password is required. Your Apple ID keeps your data tied to you across reinstalls.

Syncing across devices

Your aircraft, checklists, logbook entries, and profile sync privately through your own iCloud account. Make sure you are signed in to iCloud and have iCloud Drive enabled on each device. Sync runs automatically; give it a minute after first launch on a new device.

Using Brief Aero

Checklists

Build checklists for each aircraft you fly, or browse the community library and clone a template to your aircraft. In flight, use the cockpit execution mode and the slide-to-check action to work through each step.

Currency tracking

Set your flight review, IFR, and medical dates in your profile. Brief Aero shows your status and warns you before anything lapses. These calculations are reference aids — always confirm your legal currency against official records.

Subscription

Brief Aero Pro

Pro is an auto-renewable subscription: 7.99 USD per month or 59.99 USD per year, with a 14-day free trial. The free tier lets you keep one aircraft, three checklists per aircraft, and five clones from the community library.

Managing or cancelling

Your subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel anytime in your iPhone Settings: tap your name, then Subscriptions. Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep Pro until the end of the paid period.

Restoring a purchase

If you reinstall the app or switch devices, open the Profile tab and tap Restore purchases to recover your active subscription.
